Ever Mine

Endless Time — A Poetry — Does the time ever get tired of running? Or the sun ever grow weary of rising? Does the river ever cease to flow Or do the stars ever dim their shine? Well, they must really love their jobs They keep going till the end of time… But hey! If I am a part of them Their kin, if I may Should I not aim for a journey Just as divine? Like the daily cosmic show And the everlasting dance of nature What if I too give into the endlessness of time?

All of You

Poetry — I carry an ocean in my eyes I want to swim through but you want me to drown I carry a mountain in my heart I want to climb it but you want its weight to put me down I carry a flower in my mind I want to nurture it with love but you want to pluck it till its brown I carry your heart in my soul I want to let go of it but your spell has no bounds All of you is in all of me I push your memories away but why are you still so much around?

Multiverse

Poetry — Here’s to the life I never lived To the ‘what-ifs’ I never explored To the roads I did not take & To the stories that still remain untold. Here’s to my long-lost childhood friend I still carry our friendship in my heart Here’s to the kiss I never had Its undying yearning that…

Unafraid

Poetry — Uncorrupted souls Brushed with blush Naivety intact Cupid cascading all hearts & masking all facts… Once kids Grew up now No… Grew.. apart .. unmapped. It was indeed a decayed decade Of learning how to Unlearn Unlove Un-stay & be ..Unafraid.

The Eternal Dance

Poetry — The way you looked at me That night… It felt like The stars in your eyes Danced to the rhythm of my heart And promised to groove Every moment they see me Even if the world falls apart…

I am Embracing the Dawn…

…and I can’t stop smiling — Time and again, I have used Medium to express my love for Poetry (many times in the form of Poetry itself). Today, I am thrilled to share that two of my poems are published in Thomas Gaudex’s first Scribe-related book of Poetry, The Embrace of Dawn. I am honoured to be a part of this beautiful book (along with many other talented writers) and I cannot wait to hold it in my hands!

Ghost

Poetry — I am ghosting the ghost of my past I am wrapping it in a towel & keeping it in a box under my bed of roses Sometimes I hear the ghost crumble & cry I shut my ears & smile reminding myself that it’s not the ghost the cries are just my tears of joy The ghost is silent at times I mistake the silence for its absence I assume there’s no harm but now I just wonder what if it’s just silence before the storm?

The Irony of Life

Poetry — Every time I try to unleash this labyrinth of life I meet another enigma that I fail to surmise here’s another epiphany giving rise to my quandary it’s all about those moments that turned into memories… Why is it that… good memories bring tears to our eyes making us hopeful, Nah, desperate to relive those times? but it’s when the bad memories arrive our hearts get filled with joy sigh of relief for they’re over sense of pride for you’ve got closure
